Dawood Ibrahim can operate in Dubai but not Anna Hazare

Dubai, Sept 5: Underworld Don Dawood Ibrahim has been reigning the underworld from Dubai since he left India and became a fugitive in that country (Dubai). But for the supporters of Anna Hazare, permission was denied to hold a peaceful rally in the country. Several men were arrested over holding protest rally for Anna's Jan Lokpal Bill and India Against Corruption movement.

After several rejections, the Public Prosecution finally granted bail to the Indian nationals who were detained for holding a rally.

"All of them have secured bail. We are finishing the paper works for their release," informed the lawyer of the detained persons. One of the detained persons had organised 3km walk in Al Mamzar Beach Park on Aug 21 to express solidarity with Anna.

Citing the restrictions on the supporters for Anna, many made comparisons between Dawood's activities in the country and the fight for a good cause like - Jan Lokpal Bill.

Dawood, who started off as a petty criminal in the slums of Mumbai went on to become a dreaded criminal largely due to timid acts of back-stabbing his master and committing crimes covertly. He was also the mastermind of the 1993 Mumbai serial blasts and has from then on, fled India.
