Sonia Gandhi to be back next week

New Delhi, Aug 31: Sonia Gandhi, Congress President will be back next week after she had undergone a surgery in the US, said reports.

Reports also suggest that the Congress President will take up the charge of the party in a month.

Congress said that they felt the absence of Sonia during Anna's fight against corruption and said she will return between Sep 5-10.

Meanwhile, Rahul Gandhi has left for the US to accompany her back. Sonia in her absence had set up a committee consisting of Rahul Gandhi, Ahmed Patel, AK Antony and Janardhan Dwivedi. The four member committee had held a few meetings while Sonia was away.

Sources also revealed that the key issues discussed in the meetings were selecting candidates for the UP Assembly and discussing over Anna Hazare.
