Lokpal: Democracy in 'danger', Rahul Gandhi gives solution

Emphasising on the supremacy of the Parliament, Rahul Gandhi stated that the demand over passing Lokpal Bill within Aug 30 is an undemocratic demand and Anna Hazare's proposed graft is not enough to eradicate corruption from the country, adding that there is no simple solution to exterminate corruption.
However, the young face of the Congress party, stated that an Election Commission like constitutional body should be brought to the system to battle with corruption in the country.
"Let's commit ourselves to truth in public life," said Rahul while appealing the Parliamentarians to commit to probity in public life.
The Lok sabha witnessed a ruckus over Rahul's speech. Many slammed the young Congress leader. However, Rahul showed his respect and thanked Anna Hazare for underlining the issue of corruption.
Meanwhile, Anna Hazare's fast for a strong Jan Lokpal Bill entered 11th day on Friday. The Gandhian remained adamant on his demand to pass a resolution over Jan Lokpal Bill.
