After Jan Lokpal, now Team Anna sets new condition on govt

New Delhi, Aug 22: One of the crucial members of Team Anna - Arvind Kejriwal on Monday, Aug 22 claimed that they (Team Anna) have not yet received any "concrete proposal" from the government. Imposing new condition on the UPA government, Kejriwal also claimed that Anna Hazare and Co will not react to to any statement from the government until they get a "concrete proposal".

Earlier, government and Congress sources had claimed that the government was ready to talk with Team Anna but Anna Hazare's aides refused the proposal stating, "time to discuss Lokpal is over, now it's time to act."

Later Team Anna again had expressed their inclination towards discussion with the government, but also informed that government did not contact them officially.

Meanwhile, reports emerged that both Team Anna and the government initiated a back-channel talk when Maharashtra Additional Chief Secretary Umesh Chandra Sarangi, on Sunday visited Anna Hazare.

However, Team Anna refused to accept any reports on the "agreement" between the government and the protesting team in the expense of strong Jan Lokpal Bill.
