Rahul Gandhi to come home, Sonia to stay in US

New Delhi, Aug 14: While Congress President Sonia Gandhi is recovering from her surgery that took place in the US, Rahul Gandhi, AICC general secretary will be back to the national capital on Aug 14 (today) said reports.

According to reports, Rahul is supposed to unfurl the flag in absence of his mother. The flag hoisting will take place at the Congress headquarters on Aug 15, Delhi. If however Rahul refuses to unfurl the flag then it is expected that Party Vetran, Motilal Vohra would do the required. Vohra had unfurled the national flag on Jan 26 2010 when Sonia Gandhi was not keeping well.

Sonia who is currently in the US underwent surgery on Aug 4 and was moved out of ICU after 24 hours. According to sources she has now moved to a serviced apartment of a New York Hospital.
