Women power to strengthen 'T' protest: Rao

Hyderabad, Aug 10: The stubborn 'T' supporters, leaving no stone unturned to compel the Centre for a separate Telangana state, now seems to strengthen women power to highlight their protest. TRS President K Chandrasekhar Rao on Tuesday, Aug 9 asked them to play a vibrant role in the Telangana statehood agitation.

Rao, while speaking at a convention organised by the women's wing of TRS, said that the women should take up activities like organising rallies in support of the 'all-people's strike' from August 17.

Showering praise on women, popular actress of yesteryear and TRS MP Vijayashanti said the women should play a more vital role in politics and in separate statehood agitation. She asked the youth not to take the extreme step of committing suicides in support of separate statehood demand and fight for achieving the goal instead.
