Prime Minister, Manmohan Singh
Bhopal, Aug 10: A case has been registered with the cyber cell, Madhya Pradesh police by congress spokesperson Pankaj Chaturvedi after a spoof video of Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and Congress President Sonia Gandhi was doing the rounds on the internet.

The video is a spoof of recently released movie Singham which shows the body of Ajay Devgan and face of Prime Minister.

The video begins by saying: “Prime Minister"s Office presents" and then shows Manmohan Singh performing stunts actually performed by superstar Ajay Devgan in the movie. In his complaint, Chaturvedi has alleged that there is a racket behind it and the motive behind releasing the video is to defame Congress leaders, mainly the Gandhi family. He also added that why no such videos involving the BJP were never found on the internet.

He further said that if one searched the internet one would easily come across fake profiles of Sonia Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi and many other Congress leaders.

Rajendra Kumar Mishra, Inspector General, Cyber cell said that the probe into the fake profile and the recent videos was on.

Meanwhile, a complaint was also registered with the Madhya Pradesh Police by Pankaj Chaturvedi after it was found that there was a fake account of AICC General Secretary, Rahul Gandhi on Facebook.

Investigation was on in the matter and the information would be sent to the Facebook's California office to find out more on the person behind the fake profile, said the police.
