Ekta Kapoor, latest celebrity to fall under I-T net

Mumbai, Aug 8: It seems that the serial terror attacks in Mumbai that left back its disastrous effects has awakened the Mumbai police department to such an extent that the big names of the tinsel town are nowhere spared. After actresses Anushka Sharma and Minisha Lamba, its now the turn of Balaji Telefilms chief Ekta Kapoor.

It has been reported that Kapoor was carrying undeclared luxury goods in the tune of Rs one lakh. She was intercepted while trying to pass through the green channel without declaring her assets.

After being traced, she claimed innocence and said that she was not aware of the existing laws. She was questioned for over two hours by the Customs Department and was later released. She was also made to pay a fine of Rs 50,000.
