TN: 3 held for circulating morphed, obscene MMS of 14-yr-old

Chennai, Aug 4: Three men have been arrested by the Chennai police on charges of allegedly making an obscene video of a girl without her knowledge by morphing the image.

The arrested are Hamasalingam (39), Sarathkumar (19) hailing from Selaiyur and Rajesh Kumar (24) from Aalapakkam.

According to the police, the accused Hamsalingam, a fruit vendor and Sarathkumar a painter by profession shot a video of the girl without her knowledge. They then handed the video to Rajesh Kumar, a cellphone owner who later morphed the video and then transferred the video to Hamasalingam's mobile.

“The girl's father had earlier attempted to confront the three when he came to know that they were circulating his daughter"s morphed video. At that time the three reportedly told him that they were in possession of a lot of videos on women and threatened him that they would circulate among more people if he approaches the police," said a police officer.
