Dilshan Case: Accused not to be let off as CB-CID plans more

"The bail plea of the accused is coming to the sessions court tomorrow. So we will file the charge sheet in a couple of days," said a police officer.
Lt Col Ramraj, a retired Army officer was arrested on Jul 10 by CB-CID for allegedly shooting Dilshan after he trespassed into his compound. The retired Army Colonel had earlier admitted of killing 13-year-old Dilshan.
The officer had retired in Apr and was about to vacate his quarters where the incident took place.
The accused was on his way to Madurai when the investigative agency held him suspecting his involvement in the crime. The weapon used for the killing was recovered from the Coouam river in Chennai.
