Yeddyurappa camp gets stronger, asks more time
The two leaders did not talk to the media but some MLAs said they have requested the high command to reconsider the decision and allow Yeddyurappa to continue in his post.
Meanwhile, more supports gathered for BS Yeddyurappa as 75 MLAs and 14 MPs from the state on Friday, Jul 29 claimed that they would not allow the CM to table his resignation.
Earlier on Wednesday the BJP had given Yeddyurappa twelve hour time to table his resignation. On Thursday, Yeddyurappa sent his resignation letter to the party president Nitin Gadkari and informed that he would officially step down on Sunday, Jul 31.
