BSY leaves, what about other 787 indicted officials?

Bangalore, Jul 29: After the Chief Minister, Karnataka Yeddyurappa quit his post, the big question now is what about those 787 government servants who were indicted in the Lokayukta report.

Justice Santosh Hegde in the Lokayukta report on Jul 27 disclosed that atleast 787 government officials ranging from administrative services, Indian forest officers to clerks were among those involved in the 16,000 crore illegal land mining scam.

Meanwhile after much hue and cry over the whole illegal mining issue, Yeddyurappa under pressure sent his resignation letter to BJP President, Nitin Gadkari.

There are reports that the tainted CM will resign officially on Sunday, Jul 31.
