Karnataka Lokyukta rpt tabled, Yeddyurappa to be prosecuted

The Lokayukta report also named former chief minister of the state, HD Kumaraswamy regarding the illegal mining in Karnataka. The report stated that Yeddyurappa and his family members had taken bribes from the mining companies.
Yeddyurappa's family allegedly sold a land to a mining company at Rs 20 crore, the Lokayukta report stated. The BJP government has been accused of doing nothing about the loss. The Reddy brothers are expected to be asked to pay the loss of the exchequer.
Citing the tremendous pressure, the CM remained defiant while saying that the final decision (about resignation) will be taken by him (Yeddyurappa himself).
The report also indicted a Congress MP Anil Lad as it was predicted earlier in the day. The report indicted the JD(S) leader for granting leases illegally to the mining company.
