Home Ministry warns Bengal of perfume bombs

According to an advisory sent by the union ministry of home affairs (MHA), such stuffs could be explosive substances. A light pressure on the nozzle is sufficient to cause an explosion.
“We received the perfume bomb alert from the ministry of home affairs. This is altogether a new kind of deadly weapon. Terrorists are constantly adopting new techniques to camouflage bombs. We are putting in our best efforts to prevent such attacks," said Virendra, director (security), West Bengal.
In fact, it has been warned that the perfume containers developed by the terrorists looks genuine. “In the present scenario, one cannot assume even innocuous-looking items (to be) safe. Security personnel should suspect everything which passes through their sight, and check everything thoroughly," the MHA digest said.
