TRS leaders hit officer at Andhra Pradesh Bhawan in Delhi

New Delhi, Jul 21: The furious Telangana Rashtriya Samiti leaders on Thursday, Jul 21 including the MLAs hit an officer at Andhra Pradesh Bhawan in Delhi over the disrespect showed to the dead body of a man from Telangana who committed suicide in Delhi on Wednesday, Jul 20.

30-year-old Adi Reddy was found dead near Parliament House in Delhi on wednesday, Jul 20. An eight-page suicide note reportedly said the young driver from the Ranga Reddy region of Telangana was upset over the government not creating a new state for his homeland.

Among those at the centre of today's assault were Harish Rao and K T Rama Rao, whose father, K Chandrasekhar Rao heads their party, the Telangana Rashtriya Samiti (TRS), and has fronted the campaign for a new state of Telangana. They were protesting against "the lack of respect" shown for the dead body.
