Delhi: Sex racket with six foreign call girls busted

New Delhi, Jul 20: Finally the "master mind" behind the capital's top escorts website gets revealed after six foreign call girls and two pimps got arrested on Tuesday, Jul 19 during a police raid.

Six high profile women from Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan, including one from Nepal came to India on short tourist visa to make quick fat cash through prostitution. One of the lady pimps is from Uzbekistan, who visited India several times and operated in different areas of south Delhi.

A person named Deepak Verma also has been arrested by the Delhi police when the sex racket got busted. Deepak used to work for Asish, the key brain behind the flesh trade. The modus operandi was simple. As soon as a client contacted Ashish, he would depute Verma to hammer out the deal. Ashish also runs a website — Delhi Top Escorts.

The prostitutes stayed at a rented flat for which they paid Rs 35,000 per month. "The call girls were each paid Rs 1 lakh per month, excluding food and accommodation which was paid by the pimp. They came to India on a tourist visa and would stay for two to six months. The police said they catered only to a select clientele. New customers were entertained only after they provided the reference of an old and trusted client," said Ashok Chand, DCP (Crime).
