Anuskha Shrama to be interrogated by I-T officials

Mumbai, Jun 28: Actress Anushka Sharma who was detained by Mumbai custom authorities at the airport for carrying undeclared jewellery will now have to face the Income Tax officials enquiry on her wealth

According to reports Anuskha Sharma was carrying jewellery worth Rs 45 lakhs.

She was on her way back from the International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) award functions in Toronto, Canada. She bagged the best actress award in the event that concluded on Sunday.

After reaching the Mumbai Airport at 2.30 pm, the actress was grilled by the customs department for nine hours before she was let off.

Anuskha claimed that she had declared her jewellery at the airport and had taken the jewellery from India.

Many other Bollywood stars have been caught in the customs loop for failing to disclose the details of jewellery, branded accessories and cash. Some of them are Minisha Lamba, Bipasha Basu, Mallika Sherawat's brother etc.
