Rajinikanth to join Anna Hazare campaign?

New Delhi, Jun 17: According to reports Superstar Rajinikanth would also like to show his support to the Anna Hazare's campaign.

"Rajini sir is never vocal or forthcoming about his feelings on any subject. However, Anna's fight against corruption seems to have captured his imagination . Even through his illness in Singapore, the Superstar had been quietly following Anna's Jan Lokpal Bill progress. He is actually a staunch Anna fan," said a source.

Insiders feel that by Rajini's move to lend support to Anna Hazare's fight against corruption he might as well be giving back something in return to his fans and society.

Rajinikanth was discharged on Wednesday, Jun 15 from Singapore.

"Superstar discharged from hospital. He has recovered completely and taking rest. Soon national award celebrations :) god bless": tweeted his son-in-law Dhanush after he was discharged.

The actor is currently on a vacation, said his family adding that he will be back in Jul.

After Rajinikanth started shooting for "Rana" a Tamil period movie on Apr 29, the actor started complaining of exhaustion, following which he was admitted to several hospitals.

On Wednesday, Jun 15 sources confirmed that the actor has been discharged from the hospital in Singapore.

The Tollywood superstar will soon reach Chennai as "he (Rajinikanth) is stable and fit" now, sources close to the hero informed.

The superstar was admitted to intensive care unit of the city-state's Mount Elizabeth Hospital. Later he was taken to Singapore for better treatment.

The 60-year-old hero has been suffering from acute gastro-intestinal and respiratory problems and was admitted to hospital thrice since Apr 29.
