JD(S) dharna in Hassan on June 22

Bangalore, June 17: JD(S) supremo H D Deve Gowda would lead a dharna of his party's elected represantatives in Hassan on June 22 to protest against the "vindictive" politics by Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa and stopping of development works.

Besides Gowda, MLAs, MLCs and Zilla Panchayat members of Hassan District will stage a day-long dharna in front of the Deputy Commissioner office on that day, JDS Legislature wing leader H D Revanna told a press conference here today.

Even those works for which the government accorded administrative sanction had not commenced, he charged and accused Yeddyurappa of resorting to "vindictive politics" in dealing with development works in Hassan.

Deve Gowda represents Hassan Lok Sabha constituency while Revanna, his son, Holenarasipur assembly segment.
