Baba Ramdev, aide provoked supporters in Delhi?

New Delhi, Jun 10: When the entire nation started criticising the "brutal atrocities" of Delhi police on Baba Ramdev at Ramlila Maidan, the cops came up with a fresh argument which has intensified controversies on Baba.

Police claimed that they have acquired a few video footages which show that some speakers on the dais delivered provocative speeches at Ramlila Maidan on Saturday, Jun 4. Police alleged that the speakers asked people to attack them.

Media reports also claimed that Delhi police may soon file a charge-sheet against the yoga guru who has so far rejected to accept such allegations of using "provocative words". The report also adds that the FIR lodged against Baba also names Sadhvi Rithambhara, Maulana Kalbe Jabbar and Akali leader Onkar Singh Thapar for using such words.

Ramdev and his aides were booted out from the national capital on Saturday. The police attacked the yoga guru and his supporters with tear-gas and lathicharged them.

However, Ramdev and his followers have given a different story so far. Ramdev claimed that Delhi police seized all video cameras and snatched all proofs from journalists to evade all evidences against their (police) brutality.

Currently, Ramdev continues his fast at his Haridwar ashram over black money issue and corruption in general. Doctors asserted that Baba might be shifted to a top hospital as his health condition has worsened on Friday, Jun 10.
