Ramdev and Hazare supporters observe fast in Bihar

Patna, Jun 8: Several supporters of Baba Ramdev and Anna Hazare observed fast across Bihar to protest against the crackdown on the yoga guru and his supporters at Ramlila Maidan in Delhi on June 5 at midnight.

The supporters under the banner of Bharat Swabhiman Trust and India against Corruption launched fast at several places in the state and shouted anti-central government slogans.

In Patna, hundreds of supporters of Baba and Hazare held demonstrations at Kargil Chowk and observed fast.

Bharat Swabhiman Trust (Patna division) convener Ajay Kumar claimed that the agitation had overwhelming support.

"We are also being fully supported by the organisations of Hazare and civil right fronts," he claimed.

He said there several activists were observing fast at the district headquarters across the state.
