India undergoing 'a transparency revolution,' says AK Antony

New Delhi, Jun 8: India is "passing through a revolution...a transparency revolution," said Defence Minister, AK Antony on Jun 8 as the government is trying hard to fight level of corruption in the country.

"The walls of secrecy are crumbling...in every field...whether it is politics...or administration...judiciary...business. The trend's started...the movement's started...you can't stop it mid-way," said Antony on the Right to Information Act (RTI) introduced few years ago by the government.

"All those who are in key positions in India...they are still not ready for this transition...that is why there have been some problems...but this is another phase of Indian democracy," said the minister.
