Gadkari has proof of Chidambaram's involvement in 2G scam

New Delhi, Jun 8: There seems to be more revelations coming in the 2G Spectrum allocation scandal as Nitin Gadkari, the President of the Bharatiya Janata Party has told a TV Channel that

against P Chidambaram's involvement in the scam.

In an interview with the Star News, he said, "I will soon file a First Information Report and will ask the Central Bureau of Investigation to act against home minister."

It is not the first that a reference has been made to a Union Cabinet Minister's involvement in the 2G scam. Earlier, Murli Manohar Joshi, a senior BJP leader as well as the chairman of the Public Accounts Committee (PAC) had hinted that 'four cabinet ministers were directing PAC members to behave in a particular manner within the committee'.

Joshi had said, "They circulated notes and made telephone calls to PAC members when a meeting was taking place."

Former Union Telecom Minister, A Raja along with M Kanimozhi, a fellow DMK leader and daughter of former chief minister of Tamil Nadu are now lodged in the Tihar jail in connection with their alleged involvements in the scandal.

Meanwhile there are also allegations of improper usage of his position as Union Telecom Minister Dayanidhi Maran, yet another leader from Tamil Nadu, with relations to the DMK's first family and not to mention a DMK leader as well.
