Sushma Swaraj angered by channels running her dance clips

New Delhi, Jun 7: Senior BJP leader and Leader of opposition in Lok Sabha, Sushma Swaraj expressed her discontent and was shocked after TV channels across the nation aired the clippings of her dancing at the BJP's protest at Rajghat on Jun 5.

One of her tweets read: "shocked that this (dancing) is the sole clipping picked up as representative visual of the Satyagraha. It is the tradition of our party that we sing patriotic songs during all our protests."

The leaders who sat on an all-night protest at Rajghat went to meet Pratibha Patil, President on Jun 7 to ask about the action that was taken by the government against Baba Ramdev and his supporters at Ramlila ground on Jun 4.

"The image of this government is that of the most corrupt government in Independent India," said BJP leader, LK Advani after the talks with President.

Advani said that he wanted a "joint parliamentary committee be set up to explore issues of corruption." to be held by the President.
