Another drama as RSS contemplates to sue Digvijay Singh
A senior RSS leader has been quoted by The Indian Express as saying, “The court will be moved either today or latest by tomorrow by our Rajashthan unit."
The leader has further added, "We have verified the man"s antecedents. He is not remotely involved with the RSS. In fact, he has worked with institutions that belong to people owing allegiance to the Congress."
Spelling out the entire background of the man, he has been further quoted as saying, "An institution (Rajasthan Public School) where he has taught English belongs to a man whose wife (Sharda) is a local Congress councillor. The Vidya Bharati school where he also taught is not our institution. And the paper for which he reported, too, has nothing to do with us. He wasn't even a swayamsevak as a child."
Digvijay Singh, the Congress General Secretary, who had allegedly punched the man after he was hounded for trying to attack Janardhan Dwivedi, another Congress leader, later claimed that the man belonged to the RSS.
It's not that Digvijay Singh alone has won the wrath of the saffron outfit, leader of the opposition in Lok Sabha, Sushma Swaraj has also earned the ire of the RSS. The Indian express has quoted sources in the RSS as saying, "Rajghat is a sacred place. One is not supposed to dance to a film song there. Dancing is in temples too, but to bhajans."
It can be recollected that Sushma Swaraj was shown by television channels as dancing at the BJP's protest in Rajghat against the Delhi police midnight swoop on Baba Ramdev.
