Kanimozhi turns Amma in Tihar jail, Khushboo watches closely

New Delhi, Jun 2: It seems that DMK supremo Karunanidhi's daughter, Kanimozhi can not keep herself from serving people. Kanimozhi, who is currently lodged in Tihar jail as one of the main accused in the 2G spectrum scam, has turned into a problem-solver for her 475 female inmates in the jail.

Reacting like an Amma (a mother), Kanimozhi started raising issues with jail superintendents about the sufferings of the prisoners. Media report also claimed that all her inmates waves at her when the DMK MP leaves for and returns from court's trial in 2G scam.

Kanimozhi, as per the sources, so far has taken up the issues of dirty toilets, water problem, and general sufferings of prisoners. However, her "being mother" tactics failed to impress the court which rejected her bail application.

Meanwhile, actress Khushboo, who had campaigned for DMK before the assembly election in Tamil Nadu, reached Tihar to meet Kannimozhi.

Khushboo, who showed support to the detained DMK MP, inquired about her jail life and discussed about the present political situation in Tamil Nadu.
