Govt goes in to huddle as Baba Ramdev refuses to relent

NDTV has cited anonymous sources, to state that a team of Union Cabinet ministers will again meet the yoga guru to break the impasse over his impending fast.
Earlier, this morning, the Yoga guru, in a news conference stated his intention to go ahead with the fast and said that crores of people will join his satyagraha against the system.
Meanwhile, the Congress top brass, including Prime Minister Manmohan Singh along with Rahul and Sonia Gandhi are likely to meet on Jun 2 and discuss the next course of action in the eventuality if Baba Ramdev goes ahead with the fast.
Meanwhile, the Congress party has distanced itself from the government's action of sending four senior ministers to receive the yoga guru at the Delhi airport. PTI has cited top sources in the Party as saying, "The party is not at all related to this entire exercise from here to the airport( ministers going to the airport to receive the Yoga Guru)."
It can be recollected that Baba Ramdev, snubbed assurances from the government in its seriousness of tackling corruption and insisted that he will continue with his fast. He had said, "Till there is 100 per cent agreement on all issues and a decisive stage is reached, the fast will go on."
Union HRD minister, Kapil Sibal after his meeting with the yoga guru along with his other cabinet colleagues, who met Baba Ramdev at the Delhi airport, said, "Baba Ramdev raised significant national issues. We listened and responded to him. We agreed to have dialogue in next couple of days. I am sure we will take all those issues into account."
