75 law college students booked for burning Tricolour

The students, including 35 girls, covering their faces with black clothes, had burnt two national flags inside the college premises yesterday as part of their ongoing strike seeking action against a woman teacher for allegedly abusing students a fortnight ago.
A section of students, as part of their agitation, which began on Feb 23, had picketed vehicles of the district officials, some time ago. They had also burnt effigies of the state law minister and chief minister, for their failure to take action against the erring teacher.
Two days ago, some students attempted self-immolation, but were prevented by others. However, they had burnt the copy of Indian Constitution, police said.
Yesterday, the students burnt their voter ID cards, college identity cards and finally two national flags, as police were standing outiside the college campus.
