Actress raped: Live-in boyfriend under scanner

Mumbai, Mar 4: A Goregaon based film actress filed a complaint against her live-in boyfriend accusing of rape and theft charges.

Police officials said that they had booked a case under Section 376 (rape) of the IPC against actress' boyfriend, Dipesh Parekh, who hails from Rajasthan.

According to the actress, she met Dipesh in 2009 when she was shooting for a film in a village in Rajasthan. The relationship grew and Dipesh took her to a temple and said that they were married. Later, they moved to Mumbai and settled there.

"Initially, everything was fine, but then I became pregnant. Dipesh asked me to abort the child, which I did. In fact, during the relationship I had three abortions," actress said.

The actress also accused her boyfriend of having a relationship with other male. Dipesh kept postponing their marriage and on Feb 9, following a quarrel, Dipesh ran away from her house with money and jewellery worth Rs 6.5 lakh.
