Two employees sentenced to 7 yrs imprisonment

Hisar, Feb 25 (PTI) A junior engineer and an assistantlineman have been sentenced to seven years imprisonment eachon the charge of taking bribe from a customer in 2006.

Special Judge Baljit Singh also imposed a fine of Rsten thousand each on the accused.

JE Om Prakash Ralhan had accepted a kick back of Rs 500while Assistant Linemen Bhagat Ram took Rs 100 from a customerManoj Kumar, a resident of Bhagat Singh Nagar here, forcorrection of his electricity bill.

A case under Prevention of Corruption Act was registeredagainst here in 2006.
