Railway budget for common people

Santiniketan(WB), Feb 25 (PTI) The West Bengal PradeshCongress Committee (WBPCC) president Manas Bhunia today saidthe railway budget presented by Mamata Banerjee was for thecommon people.

"The railway budget presented by Mamata Banerjee wasdirected towards the welfare of the common people," Bhuniatold reporters here.

Mamata Banerjee as a minister of the UPA government wasworking for the welfare of the common people, Bhunia said.

The WBPCC chief also stressed the need for strengthening ofthe alliance between the Congress and Trinamool Congress forthe coming West Bengal assembly election.

"We want the alliance for the coming election at everylevel," Bhunia said.
