Missing former corporator traced in Sindhudurg
Mumbai, Feb 26 (PTI)A former Shiv Sena corporator missingsince Tuesday was traced in Sindhudurg district last night andbrought back to Mumbai, police said today.
"Mukund Padyal, a Shiv Sena functionary in Bhoiwada area,has been brought to Mumbai after he was traced in Uras villageof Sindhudurg last night," V Patil, Senior Inspector atBhoiwada police station told PTI.
On Tuesday, Padyal, informed his wife that he would begoing to visit a friend''s house. Later, he neither called norpicked up his cell phone whenever his wife Mansi contactedfollowing which she lodged a missing complaint.
"Padyal, a resident of Municipal Labour chawl atNaigaon, told us that he was mentally disturbed after somedifferences within the party. He also claimed that he wasupset over a dispute related to redevelopment of hisresidential building," Patil said.
On Tuesday, Padyal left home, went to Kurla area fromwhere he had gone to Shirdi by a bus. From there he had goneto Aurangabad, Kolhapur and then Sindhudurg, the officeradded.
"We took the help of a mobile service provider totrace Padyal. As he was carrying his cellphone, we came toknow from where he was talking. Subsequently, he was traced inSindhudurg," the officer said.
