Court issues warrants against three in ''Rakhi ka Insaaf'' case
Muzaffarnagar, Feb 25 (PTI) A local court today issuedbailable warrants against three persons facing defamationcharges in connection with reality TV show ''Rakhi ka Insaaf''for not appearing before it.
Additional CJM Jyotsna Singh issued the bailable warrantsand directed Sunita Singh, Deo Bhardwaj and Deepak to appearbefore it on March 25.
The Allahabad High Court had stayed further proceedingsof the case against the show host Rakhi Sawant, UTV SoftwareCommunication creative director Shrikant Prabhala anddirectors Harsh Kumar and Shive Kumar.
Complainant Narendra Singh had filed the case against theseven before the Additional CJM Court, alleging that Sawantthrough the programme had telecast that his wife was marriedto another man Deo Bhardwaj.
According to the complaint, the telecast had insulted himin the society.
