TN Urdu Academy board reshuffled
Chennai,Feb 22 (PTI): Chief Minister M Karunanidhi todayreshuffled the Board of Tamil Nadu Urdu Academy and appointedHigher Education Minister K Ponmudy as its President.
The reshuffling was necessitated as the term of thepresent Board has ended.
According to an official press release, A S Sajjad Buhari,Madras University former Member, has been appointed as theVice-President of the Academy.
Besides, a 15-member team including Tamil Nadu Wakf BoardPresident Kaviko Abdul Rahman and University of Madras Urdudepartment HOD Dr B Nizar Ahmed, was appointed as Executivecommittee members, the release added.
