Rs 2 lakh cash, gold, guns looted from BSP leader''s house

Ghaziabad, Feb 21 (PTI) Five armed men and two womenlooted the house of a BSP leader, who also owns milk business,and made away with Rs 2 lakh cash, gold jewellery, a licencedpistol and a rifle in Babugarh area here, police said today.

Two women entered the house of Ranbeer last nightfollowed by their marked armed accomplices, Ghaziabad SP(Rural) M M Baig, said.

The assailants tied Ranbeer''s wife and his four childrenand made away with Rs 2 lakh in cash, around 600 grams ofgold, a licensed pistol and a rifle, he said.

The police have registered a case and are investigatingthe matter.
