FIR against 3 Raj govt employees
Karauli (Jaipur), Feb 21 (PTI) An FIR was today lodgedagainst three Rajasthan government employees for releasing Rs10 lakh for developmental works from a local MLA''s fund on thebasis of a forged letter, police said.
Kaurali Zila Parishad released the amount in March lastyear following a recommendation by Todabhim BJP MLA RameshMeena. Later it came to light that the letter was forgedfollowing which an enquiry was ordered into the incident bydistrict collector Suresh Chand Dinkar.
"The officers concerned should had checked authenticityof the letter before releasing the amount," Dinkar said.
The FIR was lodged against the then chief executiveofficer R C Sharma, superintendent engineer B Sharma and clerkHemant Sharma.
