Maya pulls up ''slack'' officials

Noida, Feb 20 (PTI) Chief Minister Mayawati today tooklocal officials to task over "slackness" in discharging duty.

Mayawati, who visited Bhimrao Ambedkar multi-specialtyhospital here, gave a dressing down to the officials over poormaintenance of the medical wards.

Unsatisfied with the pace of disposal of cases, shepulled up the SHO of sector 39 police station, directing theofficials to take action against a former SHO overmaintenance of a complaint register there.

The chief minister, however, did not visit theunder-construction Ambedkar Park and a multi-specialtyhospital at section 30. The Supreme Court recently gave agreen signal for construction of the park.
