Man kills two persons, injures one

Rajkot, Feb 18 (PTI) A man killed two persons and injuredanother in Bhagvati Para area of the city following a trivialspat.

Police said that Jeetu Dangar, who hails from the samearea and has a criminal background, stabbed Abhijeet Rathod,who runs a barber''s shop, last night.

Dangar had gone to Rathod''s shop for having a shave, butwhen the latter refused, Dangar assaulted him.

As Ruchit Unnadkat (19) tried to stop him, Dangar stabbedhim too, police said.

Dangar later stabbed Sanjay Rajput, who was returninghome.

All the three were taken to the hospital, where Ruchitand Sanjay succumbed to injuries while Abhijeet is receivingtreatment.

The assailant fled, and was arrested from Morbi in thedistrict early this morning, police said.
