Five killed in road mishap

Hyderabad, Feb 18 (PTI) Five persons including two womenwere killed today and eight others injured after thefour-wheeler in which they were travelling rammed into astationary lorry in Nalgonda district of Andhra Pradesh,police said.

The incident occurred at around 1500 hours when the fourwheeler hit the stationary lorry from the rear near Miryalgudatown under Vemulapally police station limits resulting in thedeath of five persons, they said.

The victims were returning after visiting a Dargah nearNeredcherla, a police officer told PTI from Miryalguda addingthe injured were rushed to a nearby hospital.

The deceased have not been identified yet andinvestigations were on.
