Vanavarayar new CII Yi chairman, Arya vice-chairman
Mumbai, Feb 16 (PTI) Shakti Auto Motors''s ExecutiveDirector, Shankar Vanavarayar, has taken over as the NationalChairman of CII''s Young Indians (Yi) for the year 2011-12.
Yi is an integral part of the Confederation of IndianIndustry (CII), country''s premier business association. It wasformed in 2002 with an objective of creating a platform foryoung Indians to realise the dream of a developed nation.
Vanavarayar, also the president of NIA EducationalInstitutions in Tamil Nadu, has been in the lead roles invarious Sakthi Group companies ranging from textiles, retailand the automobile retail businesses, CII said in a releasehere today.
Meanwhile, Anupama Arya has taken over as the nationalvice chairman of Yi.
Arya, a serial entrepreneur, business executivetechnologist, angel investor and mentor, has led intransforming innovation and an entrepreneurship mentor tostudents, professionals and early stage entrepreneurs.
