Try to build bridges among nations: Khanna to SAsian diplomats
New Delhi, Feb 15 (PTI) Calling upon diplomats of SouthAsian countries to make efforts to build bridges, Lt GovernorTejinder Khanna today said they can play an important role inensuring harmony and understanding among the nations.
Khanna was speaking at the FICAC (InternationalFederation Of Consular Associations) South Asian RegionalConsular Conference here which deliberated on various issueswhich could improve the economic growth rate of the region.
"The world is a mirror and conflicts in any part affectthe entire globe. It was unfortunate that religion is oftenused as an instrument to create differences," he said.
"The consuls should strive in their own small ways tocreate a sense of wellbeing and happiness and take forwardglobal harmony," Khanna added.
