Three men arrested in Vijayawada, suspected of murder in MP

Vijayawada, Feb 16 (PTI) Police here today arrested threepersons who are suspected to be involved in a murder atShivpuri, Madhya Pradesh.

Police found Dinesh Jatab alias Dinesh Barwal, RajkumarOja, and Peeyush Kumar Thakur moving around in suspiciousmanner in the early hours of morning in the jurisdiction ofPenamaluru police station here, and took them into custody.

Police also allegedly seized a country-made pistol andfour rounds from their house. Questioning revealed that theywere involved in the murder of Gangaram Yadav and his brotherDharman on September 6, 2010 at Shivpuri, over a dispute aboutmatka business.

After the murder, the trio fled and landed at arelative''s place here, police said. They took to chain--snatching here to earn living.

Two cases of chain-snatching have been registered againstthem, police said. Authorities have informed the Shivpuripolice about arrests.
