Situation in J-K under control: PM
New Delhi, Feb 16 (PTI) Prime Minister Manmohan Singhtoday said the situation in Jammu and Kashmir is under controland people of the state can look forward to "orderlydevelopment" and job opportunities for the youths in the nearfuture.
"In Jammu and Kashmir, after some turbulence, there aresigns that we are getting things are under control and thatthe people of Jammu and Kashmir can look forward to orderlydevelopment of development processes," he said in aninteraction with television editors.
Singh said a number of committees, set up to deal withvarious aspects of development process, were working to chartout the future course of action.
"(Renowned economist) Dr C Rangarajan is preparing areport on the employment aspects and I do feel that if thatreport is implemented, it would bring a fresh ray of hope tothe young people in Jammu and Kashmir who are eagerlysearching for productive employment opportunities," the PrimeMinister said.
