Salem threatening me over properties: mafia don''s brother

Mau (UP), Feb 15 (PTI) Abu Laish, brother of jailedmafia don Abu Salem, today alleged that he was receivingthreats from his brother to leave the claim from properties.

"Salem, who had come to Saraimeer to attend last ritesof his aunt, called me on Sunday and asked to me leave claimon properties in Azamgarh and Lucknow, failing which hethreatened me of dire consequences," Laish told reporters.

Laish alleged that Salem''s henchmen Arif and Akhtarwere making threatening calls for the last four months.

"I am harried with the threats and will lodge acomplaint with Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mayawati, as wellas crime branch of Mumbai police," he said.
