Officer booked for inciting stenographer to commit suicide

Lucknow, Feb 16 (PTI) A senior education departmentofficer posted in Mahoba has been booked for allegedlyinciting her stenographer to commit suicide, officials saidhere.

District Inspector of School (DIOS), Mahoba, SushilaAgarwal has been accused of driving stenographer VineetaBudhauliya (32) to commit suicide, they said.

Budhauliya committed on February 13 by hangingherself inside her room in Jhansi.

A complaint in this regard was lodged against Agarwalin Mahoba yesterday, they said.

After preliminary investigations revealed that Agarwaloften used to threaten Budhauliya, a report recommended to theUttar Pradesh government to suspend her yesterday.
