Mathrubhumi and Amrita TV journalists wins award

Kozhikode, Feb 15 (PTI): Manoj K Meppayil, sub-editor ofMalayalam daily Mathrubhumi and Deepak Dharmadam, seniorreporter of Amrita television channel, Kochi bureau, have beenchosen for Malabar Chamber of Commerce P B Sami print andvisual media awards respectively.

Manoj was chosen for his article ''Pin nirayilothugunnaKeralam'' while Deepak s'' ''Keralam Kandu PadikkatteMarubhoomiyile vikasana Mathruka'', won them the awards, apress release from the chamber said.

The Judging committee comprised Asian School of Journalismchairman and Asianet former Managing Director Sasikumar, whois the committee chairman.

Renowned film director Sathyan Anthikkad and prominentbusinessman V Ramakrishnan are the committee members, therelease said.
