Manmohan Singh to take questions on live TV
New Delhi, Feb 16 (ANI): The Prime Minister, Dr. Manmohan Singh, will take questions on television to directly answer the charges hurled at him.
The press meet at Prime Minister's Race Course Road residence will be telecast live by Doordarshan at 11 a.m. today.
During the media interaction taking place just ahead of the budget session of Parliament, Dr. Singh is expected to outline various steps taken by the government to check corruption.
The Prime Minister had interacted with senior editors of the print media in September last and responded to a range of questions.
Sources said the government wanted the Prime Minister to directly answer the charges that are being hurled at him by the Opposition.
The Opposition has, in recent months accused Dr. Singh of leading the most corrupt government in the country's history. (ANI)
