Five arrested for cheating people by selling fake gold bricks

New Delhi, Feb 15 (PTI) Delhi Police today arrested fivepersons who allegedly duped people by selling fake goldbricks.

A senior police official said that fake gold bricks andone car used in the crime have been recovered from them.

Islam, Faruq, Anjala, Arshad and Ikbal were arrestedfrom Sheikh Sarai in South Delhi while they were allegedlytrying to dupe a person named Narsaiah from Timarpur.

Narsaiah got suspicious when they tried to sell him goldbricks and informed the police following which they werearrested. All the accused belonged to Mewat region of Haryana.
