BJP slams govt for Delhi''s rising crime graph

New Delhi, Feb 15 (PTI) BJP today slammed thegovernment for rising incidents of crime in the city,particularly for increasing cases of missing children.

In a statement, senior BJP leader V K Malhotra claimedthat over 100 children have "vanished" from the city in thepast 12 days.

Terming Delhi as "crime capital of the country", heclaimed that Delhi Police in a reply to an RTI query by NGOAlliance for People''s Rights said that on an average 18children go missing from the capital daily.

"It may be possible that there is an organised gang tokidnap children," he said and urged the Home Ministry to takestern steps to check crime in the city.
