Autolifter arrested

New Delhi, Feb 15 (PTI) Delhi Police today arrested anautolifter and claimed to have recovered five stolenmotorcycles from him.

Sonu alias Sai, a resident of Sultanpuri in NortheastDelhi, was arrested from Nangloi Railway crossing when he wasallegedly trying to steal another motorcycle, police said.

During the course of investigation, he disclosed thatthe motorcycle had been stolen on February 8 from Sultanpuri.

Further, he disclosed about the four motorcycles which hehad parked in Labour Colony, near Bhalla Factory, Sultanpuriand the same were recovered at the instance of the accused.

Sonu, who is illiterate and unmarried, is an autorickshawdriver.
